Consumption & Treatment Services Virtual Town Halls


The WECHU, in collaboration with the CTS Stakeholder Advisory Committee, will be facilitating a series of Virtual Town Halls with downtown businesses, residents, and agencies between January 24th and January 26th to provide updates about the CTS and address questions and concerns.

Applications Open for the Community Services Recovery Fund 


The Community Services Recovery Fund is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities, non-profits, and Indigenous Governing Bodies as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery.


Read the eligibility criteria and learn about the program on the Community Services Recovery Fund website.


The deadline for applications is February 21, 2023 at 5:00 pm.


Please note that United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex will be administering the Community Services Recovery Fund in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. As Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent are close-knit neighbouring communities, organizations from both communities will use the same application portal and materials. When you are ready to apply in our application portal, you will be asked to select your community. There is a separate dedicated fund for each Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent, and applications will be assessed based on the unique considerations of each community.

 

Virtual information sessions will be held for local organizations from Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent that would like to learn more. Registration is required:
