Notable Incident
On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at approximately 3:16 pm, we were dispatched to a report of a lost hiker in the Newell Open Space. California Highway Patrol Helicopter “H-30” flew over the scene and helped locate the subject. Once fire crews made contact with the subject an assessment was performed and it was determined that first aid at the scene was adequate care with no ambulance transport required.
