The Center will be getting work done on the building, so you will see construction materials and workers inside and outside of the building. We advise you to park across the street and/or the road on the allowed side. There will be an area fenced off in the parking lot across the street as well for construction materials, but one half will be left for MYC/Town parking!

For more about this month's programming, click here!

The Youth Center’s after school program is open for Milford youth ages 8-18, free of charge, from 2:15-6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (see monthly calendar for any changes).

Only students who are newly registered by 1PM each day will be allowed to attend (10am on vacation weeks and for half days).

Any forms received after 1pm (or 10am on vacation weeks), will be allowed to attend the following program day, if completed correctly. This is to ensure we have adequate time to process registrations. For more information about the program, click here.

The Youth Center also offers a free snack and dinner program, due to the collaboration of CACFP, Hockomock Area YMCA, and the Milford School Food & Nutrition Services department. Members will also be able to use our washer and dryer, free of charge, during our hours of operation. For more general information on signing up, click here.

Please use the link here for any donations to help support the FREE, fun and educational after-school program provided to the youth of Milford!

The Center is currently responsible for raising funds to continue programming and this is why monetary donations are so important!

Currently, the Town of Milford supports the salary of the three full-time staff along with utility and maintenance expenses.

Therefore, by donating, you are contributing to helping us purchase supplies and sustain additional staffing and physical fitness/educational programming held at the Center!

Donations are always welcome!

Thank you!

Teachers Driving Academy

The Milford Youth Center is pleased to partner with Teachers Driving Academy (TDA) to offer students a great program, at a reasonable price, with added convenience of taking classes right at Milford High School. For more information, click here.

Thank you TDA!

Monthly Gratification Post:

Thank You MYC Facilities Team

Carlos, Jay and Greg!

Greg-3-scaled image

Each month, we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts. This month we would like to recognize the Facilities team, Carlos, Jay and Greg!

There is truly no task too big or too small for this team; they are always ready to help. From setting up our infamous water slide for the end-of-year party and summer camp, to assisting with large donation pick-ups, they are consistently there when we need them. Carlos has overseen the ongoing construction at the MYC for the past six months with Jen and Jay, along with managing so many other town projects.

Carlos, Greg, and Jay work together seamlessly to keep everything moving forward, even while we remain under construction. During this school year alone, they helped paint the game room as a finishing touch after donations and long-overdue purchases allowed for an exciting upgrade for our after-school members. They also helped manage the newly installed turf, made possible through fundraising efforts.

Carlos and Jay installed the new mirror in our weight room, and they are always available to assist with larger donation pick-ups. Jay and Greg gave the basement a much-needed fresh coat of paint. Even though Carlos manages all the main public buildings in Milford, we know we can always reach out and count on him when MYC needs support. Jay is also just a call away whenever there’s an emergency or a task that needs attention. Greg is here daily, keeping our Center sparkling clean throughout our after-school programs and into the evening rentals.

We are incredibly thankful, grateful, and appreciative of their individual efforts and their teamwork, which help the MYC continue to thrive each day—both in big projects and the small details that matter most.
