Save the Date for La Casa Norte's Annual Education Luncheon

The Annual Education Luncheon returns on Thursday, May 30 at McDonald's corporate headquarters in Chicago. The luncheon raises funds exclusively for scholarships and education initiatives for homeless youth participants. Through these efforts, La Casa Norte remains committed to breaking barriers to education, fostering resilience, self-sufficiency, and lasting positive change within the community.

La Casa Norte Launches Volunteer Impact Days

Volunteers from across Chicago spent the morning assembling an impressive 170 bagged meals for agency clients, followed by a painting project at Solid Ground – La Casa Norte’s transitional housing program for male youth ages 18-21. We are so grateful for volunteers’ time, energy, and commitment to supporting youth and families experiencing homelessness.

When Angelina was enrolled in La Casa Norte’s first-ever KEYS (Keep Empowering Youth to Succeed) cohort – a Rapid Re-Housing programmatic subset for young adults concurrently navigating homelessness and HIV/AIDS – she found the support needed to seek treatment and pursue a degree.
