While the grass and the bulbs begin peeping up through the ground, so too are our opportunities to get out and enjoy our mountain community. The Evergreen Chamber community calendar has been filling with new events by the Chamber and by many community organizations. All of this is possible as more and more of us receive our vaccinations. Evergreen Fire & Rescue, in collaboration with Jefferson County Public Health and New West Physicians, are offering vaccination clinics on Mondays and Thursdays at the Bergen Fire Station Administration building. The latest information on scheduling your vaccination is available on the Chamber website home page: www.evergreenchamber.org.
As we continue to open our economy and our calendars, be sure to check out Cars and Coffee each Saturday morning on the access road in front of the Evergreen Post Office. For outdoor enthusiasts, the spring rafting and zip lining seasons kick off at Lawson Adventure Center this month. Evergreen Music Festival is back with a new event to be hosted on Memorial Day partnering with a classic car show. For those of you who love Southwest estate jewelry, a visit to Silver Arrow in downtown Evergreen at the end of this month will offer so many options for that “one of a kind” find. Be sure to look for new sculptures around our community, as those will be installed in early June by Sculpture Evergreen. And don’t miss a new exhibit at Center for the Arts Evergreen entitled, “Sports Journeys” which features two artists’ celebrations on the beauty of athletic endeavors.
Be sure to join your Chamber hosts for our first in person mixer of the year on May 13th at the new food bank location for Evergreen Christian Outreach.

Jefferson County Public Health today issued a new public health order to help guide the county through the recovery phase of the COVID-19 pandemic and into a full reopening.
There are two phases to reopening:

Phase 1 – Moving Toward a Full Reopening (April 16-May 15): Businesses and individuals can operate under Dial 3.0’s Level Blue capacity limits and simplified mitigation requirements for 30 days. There will be no movement during this 30-day period. Review the order for specific mitigation requirements and capacity limits for businesses and activities.

Phase 2 – Observation Period (May 16-August 15): Jefferson County, along with other Metro Denver counties, will move to a new Level on the Dial — Level Clear — which has no restrictions. In Level Clear, businesses will operate at 100 percent capacity with no mitigation requirements, although indoor mask requirements may still apply. During the observation period, rather than focusing on incidence rates or test positivity rates, JCPH will closely monitor hospitalizations, a health metric indicative of severity of COVID-19 infections. It is expected that by late May vaccination coverage should be sufficient to control COVID-19 transmission in Jeffco. However, if needed, JCPH can apply capacity limits based on hospitalization rates as described in the order.

Who are Energize Colorado Mentors?
They are over 350 individuals with deep industry, functional, or general business expertise who are volunteering their time. They may be an entrepreneur, corporate executive, or former business owner. They have lived it, experiencing the ups and downs of managing a business, and they want to share their experience and knowledge to help others. They can act as a sounding board or a second set of eyes and can provide feedback and guidance. Available to answer a question or work directly with a business owner.

Jefferson County Public Health is organizing a Vaccination Event in concert with Evergreen Fire and Rescue and New West Physicians.
APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED and this event is targeted towards LOCAL MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY RESIDENTS ONLY.
To make an appointment call 303-239-7000, option 1. Specify you are interested in the Evergreen Clinic. If you receive an answering service make sure you leave a voicemail with your return contact information.
Vaccinations will be available Mondays and Thursdays beginning April 12 until the need is fulfilled. Vaccinations will take place in the Admin Building of the Evergreen Bergen Fire Station at 1802 Bergen Parkway.
Please do not stop by the Fire Station without an appointment and do not call the Fire Station for more information.

We’ve Moved!!! At the end of 2020 we made a big decision to purchase own our own office CONDO unit. We love our new location at 29713 Troutdale Scenic Drive C2. This was a very strategic purchase for us. It allows us to brand the office, we tripled our space from the previous office, we have a huge conference room to host our customers, partners and hold events and a great reception area. This location allows us to get ready to grow and expand in the future. Plus we have the benefit of owning a small piece of real estate in Evergreen and gives us permanency and longevity as a retail insurance agency. Stop by and see us!
