Enjoying the art of quilting
It's hard to believe that September has arrived.  We are bracing for a busy fall season with our Anniversary Sale and a much earlier Quilters' Quest next month. The Quest involves a lot of preparation and we are getting new products and projects ready. It is a gorgeous time of year here in the mid-Atlantic with the fall colors out in all their splendor.

This month's newsletter brings you news about new fabrics and a new quilt, Quilters' Quest, Studio classes and the next clue for our Kyoto Mystery quilt.
New Denim Collection
My new Denim collection has arrived! These 22 fabrics have the soft, textured appearance of well-loved denim and they feature wide-ranging colors which can serve as great backgrounds, vibrant focal points or basic blenders.

We now have Denim available by the yard or in three fat quarter bundle groupings. You can see all of the Denim fabrics by clicking here.

Denim Star

My new Denim Star quilt combines fabrics from my Denim collection along with florals from Midnight Garden. Bold eight-pointed stars are brought together with soft, fussy-cut border prints to create this eye-catching quilt.

Denim Star is available in two sizes and two colorways and, as an added bonus, the pattern is a FREE DOWNLOAD.

You can find complete details on Denim Star here.

Get Ready to Set Sail for Quilters' Quest 2018
sail_boat_wheel.jpg
It's Anchors Aweigh for quilters from across the country, even across the ocean, who travel to our Studio to join us for our annual shop hop, Quilters' Quest. This year's Quest has moved to October and with its cruising theme the shops have created a beautiful palette for their quilts at each port of call (aka, each Quest shop). Our destination is Hawaii and our quilt was inspired by the Waikiki skyline.

Cruise to each port on one of our two, two-day bus trips--one on the weekend, the other weekday. Join us and have breakfast with Jinny, win prizes (everyone gets at least one prize), receive free patterns, collect fabric, make friends and, of course, visit all ten shops.

Our buses are filling up so don't delay. For more information or to sign up for a spot on the bus, click here.

Our Fall Class Schedule

We have a full line-up of classes for the fall including Jinny's most popular class, Quiltmaking by Hand.  For details on all of our classes, visit our website, jinnybeyer.com, and click on "Classes."

Survey for the 2019 Mystery Quilt
It is time for me to start planning next year's follow-up to our Kyoto Mystery. I would love to hear what you would like to see for next year's quilt (or if you'd like something other than a mystery). Please take this quick survey to let us know.

Kyoto Mystery - Clue 6
This month's clue involves working with border prints, adding to foundations and watching already assembled blocks grow and come together as your quilt takes shape.

This is a free program available to just our newsletter subscribers. Each newsletter will have a link to a new clue and video lesson plus you will have access to all past clues. Just click on the link below.

[Download link available in subscriber e-mail only]

It's never too late to join in the fun. We have kits available or dig into your stash and start stitching.  For more information or to order kits and related products, visit the Kyoto Mystery page on our website.
