December 1, 2018
This is the best time of year to enjoy moments with the ones you love.
If you are like me, you are wondering where November went. Before I knew it, I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner and making lists for holiday baking and gift giving. Despite the hectic pace of this time of year, I hope each of you finds a few quiet moments to sit back and enjoy this pastime of quilting we all love.

Looking ahead to the New Year, we have some exciting new projects to inspire you and keep you busy for the year to come. This month's newsletter gives you a peek at what is ahead plus some gift ideas for your quilting friends and family members.
A Preview of Stellaris
After hearing from many of you who have enjoyed our past mystery and block of the month quilts, one thing which you have repeatedly said you enjoyed about these projects is the opportunity to learn new techniques. I had that in mind when I designed our project for next year, Stellaris.

Instead of the usual block of the month format, Stellaris was created around the concept of a technique of the month. Each month, beginning in April, we will focus on a new technique giving you the opportunity to try something new or to sharpen existing skills.

Stellaris kits will be available in several colorways and we will begin taking orders in March. Watch in the coming months as we reveal additional colorways.

We Hope You Enjoyed the Kyoto Mystery
Congratulations to all of you who started and/or finished this year's Kyoto Mystery quilt and thank you so much for all of the emails letting us know how much you enjoyed it.

It's not too late to give it a try. The download link below will give you access to all the clues and videos.  Don't wait though. Kyoto Mystery free downloads will only be available until December 31, 2018. After that, the pattern is available by purchase.
