It is Time to Celebrate as a Community….
I have heard so many comments about what people are appreciating now that life is returning to a sense of normal. Many of us are appreciating seeing loved ones from near or far after almost two years of separation. Family celebrations are moving forward and cook outs are on the calendar.
The Chamber of Commerce is so grateful to our community for all the support they have provided to our local businesses. When businesses were closed in 2019, the Chamber offered the community the ability to purchase gift certificates to most of our area businesses so the businesses would have some form of revenue stream. You all purchased over $10,000 worth of gift certificates!
Now the Chamber would like to give back to our amazing community! On Tuesday, July 20th, in conjunction with Evergreen Parks and Recreation Department, we would like to welcome the entire community to the Evergreen Lake House for a Community Renewal and Ice Cream Social. Festivities will begin with a guided meditation, a release of concerns and stress from the past year and a half, a setting of new intentions and an invocation of positive pathways for us to step forward as a community. Once we have released all the negative from the past, we will move forward in celebration with ice cream! This event is appropriate for the entire family.
