It is hard to believe it is December already and the holiday season is in full swing. As we bundle up and brace for the cold, imagine yourself on the beautiful Greek island of Santorini with evening breezes, clear waters and perfect temperatures. Many of you have been asking when I would release a pattern for you based on my Quilter's Quest quilt, Open Book. The pattern has been finalized and you'll find it here.

With the renewed interest in appliqué and for those who are new to our newsletter, in the coming months, we want to call attention to some of our most popular kits. This month, we want to reintroduce
Lotus, a quilt based on one of the oldest and most recognized designs in quilting.
This dynamic Lone Star quilt is surrounded by appliqué and comes in three colorways. The star is strip-pieced, a method known for being quick and accurate. Click

Quilt Tip - Videos, Tutorials and Border Prints

Those of you who have been participating in our Block of the Month,
Stellaris, will be getting ready to put the borders on your quilt. Even if you are not working on this project, I hope you give border print fabrics a try. These fabrics are designed with the quilter in mind and you may be surprised at all of the possibilities.
Remember,
Stellaris is a rectangular quilt, not a square one, so there is something a little different about adding your border prints. There is a wealth of information on working with border print fabrics on our website. You'll find my videos on these fabrics

Congratulations! You have made it to the final lesson of our Block/Technique of the Month,
Stellaris. This month you will be adding your borders and finishing your quilt top.
