March Member of the Month:
Neoti Honored as the March Member of the Month
“To be acknowledged and recognized by the Chamber was a surprise and complete honor! We’re grateful to be in a community with such strong values”, said Myers. “At Neoti, we operate with those same mid-western values, which is what sets us apart from our competition.”

Neoti started in 2006 when Josh Mitchell and Derek Myers met during a Chamber of Commerce Technology Group; which was a group of people with technology interests striving to grow and evolve technology needs in the community.

“Josh and I decided to start our own company with our goal to be the nation’s largest digital signage network,” explained Myers. “We grew to 14 employees in 2008 and were the largest digital signage networking company out of Chicago. Neoti was on the brink of launching large scale networks with nation-wide franchises when the stock market crashed.”

Myers stated that all ventures stopped, advertisers disappeared. “In the spring of 2009, we had to re-invent ourselves with marketing outdoor large format digital signage systems. We invested in mobile LED trailers, rented them at UCLA home football games, the Rose Bowl, toured with Lifetime TV, NASCAR events, and Under Armour events.”

This year there are significant changes to the local Bluffton farmers market. We are excited to announce that Bluffton NOW!, Bluffton’s downtown revitalization group, will be managing the market and holding it on the Parlor City Plaza. In addition, the market is being re-branded to be called the Parlor City Market.
The goal is to offer activities, food and entertainment to the downtown each Saturday to promote the vendors and create a sense of community and increase a quality of place in Wells County.

The Parlor City Market will run from May 2nd through September 19th from 9am to 1pm.

"I wish I would have been through Wells County Leadership Academy when I was younger. I have been given so many ideas and options that I now use every day of my life in business and life itself. The materials used have been outstanding and the concepts are easy to understand. The facilitators have been very professional, and you can feel their passion. If you want to invest in yourself or an employee in a program that has proven results, then the Leadership Academy is the answer.”
