The City of Corinth’s Public Works Department has 31 employees dedicated to maintaining and developing Corinth’s infrastructure. Our diverse department is made of five operating divisions that work in close coordination to deliver services to over 22,000 residents every day. We are responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of our network of roads, water, wastewater, and stormwater pipelines, as well as our 15 parks.
From July to August of this year, the Public Works Team will focus on using existing resources to develop a more innovative and efficient system. In order to maintain the City’s public infrastructure as cost-effectively as possible, the Public Works Department plans to take on a more streamlined and creative approach to our daily tasks.
Residents can stay up-to-date on projects by following the City's social media accounts and can also sign up for text message alerts by texting MYUTILITIES to 888-777.
In the next few months, the Public Works Department will provide transparency for Corinth residents in regard to the upcoming projects, division report cards, and system goals for the next fiscal year. This information will be posted regularly on the Public Works website.
While we develop these online resources, here are some highlights of what Public Works has planned for 2021!
