Reimagining Quail Ridge's North Course: Enhancing Beauty and Preserving Nature

Boynton Beach, Florida

First opened in 1973, The Club at Quail Ridge is a private member golf course community in Boynton Beach, proudly boasting two championship golf courses. In 2022, the Club embarked on an ambitious journey to completely reimagine the North course, aiming to create a truly remarkable golfing experience for our members.

Collaborating with renowned golf course architects Fry/Straka as well as other industry professionals, the CH team has played an integral role in the process of reimagining and redesigning the landscape of the course. The vision is to enhance the visual appeal and maintain the rich history of the community, while embracing sustainable practices.

Throughout the 18 championship holes, you will witness expanded lakes, littoral areas, and the introduction of new topography. Working closely with the Club management team, Palm Beach County, and the community Audubon society, CH has strived to create a stunning course setting. Our efforts focus not only on preserving the majestic 50-year-old oaks and pines that grace the course, but also on providing an elevated visual experience for the entire community.

However, the transformation of this beautiful amenity extends beyond aesthetics. Quail Ridge is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including Great Horned Owls, Hawks, and wading birds. With this in mind, the reimagined course aims to enhance habitat biodiversity. By incorporating a predominantly native plant palette, thoughtfully relocating large Oak trees, and expanding buffers, the new golf course will establish an improved wildlife corridor. This will provide an enriched environment for our resident wildlife, ensuring their continued presence for all to admire and appreciate.

We are excited to inform you that the first phase of this ambitious project is currently underway, with completion scheduled for September. Stay tuned for the upcoming release of captivating pictures that showcase the remarkable transformation taking place at Quail Ridge. The reimagined North course promises to be a testament to our commitment to both enhancing the beauty of our community and preserving the natural wonders it holds.

Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing more updates on this extraordinary project soon!
