MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
In 2019 the City Council established communication and resident engagement as their number one priority. It was at this time that we created the Communication & Marketing Division. We were very fortunate to have Emily, Arianna, and Sarah join our team and help us develop the communication program we enjoy today. As a team, we have launched various unique engagement outlets to update our community on special events, programs in our community, updates on services and alerts on traffic, street closures, and more, in a diligent effort to increase communication and engagement with our residents.
Communications and Marketing have become an essential part of City of Corinth operations, especially during the events of the last few years. By spanning our efforts across numerous platforms, we hope to become more connected than ever with collaboration tools that reach each resident in a way that works for them! These platforms and more are all featured on our Communications Department Webpage. Over the next year, we will continue to generate content that provides quality information and transparency about city projects and processes. Our team is dedicated to communicating with you every day through comments, emails, or questions on social media, so ask away! Stay engaged, and get connected, Corinth…..and keep reading for a few deep dives into some of our platforms!
-Lee Ann Bunselmeyer, Director of Finance, Communications, and Strategic Services

COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
We want you! The Community Ambassadors Program is designed to help spread City information through a grassroots, word-of-mouth strategy to increase community engagement and transparency with Corinth residents. By serving as a member of this organization, volunteers are the first to know about upcoming projects, hear presentations from department directors, and get to share feedback directly with staff on city initiatives.
The program includes Corinth residents who serve two-year terms and meet every other month to review and learn from city staff. This group does not make any policy decisions; however, Ambassadors will make communication suggestions to staff based on residents' feedback.

Corinth residents can now text the City of Corinth for questions or report a concern using our new interactive texting service, CitiBot. To start a conversation with CitiBot, text the word "hello" to (855) 615-2689. CitiBot will respond with instructions on how to use the service.
If you have a question, CitiBot will respond with a link to view the answer on our website. If CitiBot cannot answer your question, you will then be able to send a message to City Staff, who will follow up with you during business hours (Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.).
To report a concern, you can type out your concern to CitiBot, or type "report a concern." CitiBot will then take you through the reporting process, and CitiBot will send your issue or request to a City Staff member.
