PUMPKIN PALOOZA - OCTOBER 15, 2022
|
|
|
|
The City of Corinth is excited to present the sixth annual Pumpkin Palooza Festival on October 15, from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Corinth Community Park - 3700 Corinth Parkway. Serving nearly 15,000 people, this event combines all the things we love about fall into one fantastic day.
We will have activities for all ages, including a full lineup of bands, various amusements park rides, vendors and community organizations, and delicious food, drink, and dessert options. We will also have contests, a pumpkin patch, a festival stage featuring community dance groups, hot air balloon rides, and so much more.
This event is FREE to attend, and all amusement park rides are free; however, some activities cost money, such as:
- Vendors: There will be over 100 food and goods vendors onsite with items available for purchase.
- Pumpkins: The Denton - Lake Cities Rotary will be selling pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch. The price is determined by the pumpkin size.
- Hot air balloon rides: Rides are $20 for all participants.

To receive day-of notifications for all Pumpkin Palooza scheduled activities, sign up for our text notification system.
Text the word "MYCORINTH" to 888-777 and you will receive reminders about when events are starting and where they are located in the park, so you don't miss out on your favorite activities.

|
|
All event parking is completely FREE! Parking will be available at the soccer fields on Corinth Parkway, Corinth City Hall, and the Texas Health Building.
Once these spaces fill, overflow parking will be available at the North Central Texas College Corinth Campus - 1500 N. Corinth St.
Newton's Big Hat Limousine Shuttles will run all day from 10:30 a.m. -10 p.m. between the parking lots to take you to and from the park.

MUSIC & DANCE PERFORMANCES
|
|
|
|
Enjoy live music from five different bands starting at 11 a.m.! This year's lineup has music for everyone, from 70s and 80s classics to Texas country and southern rock.

11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Redline Drift Band is a Corinth-based group performing 70s classics to present-day hits.

1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - The Hot Yeah is a D/FW area event and party band that plays anything from Elvis to Jessie J and Stevie Wonder to Beyonce.

3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Guitarist Tommy Katona and his band Texas Flood have become the premier Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band in the nation.

5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Brian Chance Band is a high energy Texas country band based out of East Texas with southern rock roots.

7 p.m. - 9 p.m. - The Molly Ringwolds will take you on a musical journey with all the hits that transcended the 80s and defined a generation.
The festival stage will highlight two community studios: A Time to Dance Studio and Illuminate Creative Arts Studio. This year's Costume Contest will also take place on the festival stage.

We will have over 15 vendors serving tasty meals and treats. There will also be drink vendors selling beer and wine options for attendees 21 and older.
Shop and support small businesses! We will have over 90 artisan vendors onsite selling unique and specialty items, and local businesses showcasing their services.

HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES & BALLOON GLOW SPONSORED BY JUST 4 KIDS URGENT CARE
|
|
|
|
From 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., the hot air balloons will light up the sky while you take 3-5 minute tethered rides over Corinth.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $20 for all participants. Sign-up and payment are upon arrival.
Whether you are taking a ride in the sky or watching the glow from down below, you will not want to miss this signature event!

|
The Cornhole Tournament sponsored by the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce is BACK at Pumpkin Palooza! The official tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the back baseball field!
Participants will compete in teams of two! The deadline to register is Thursday, October 13. Grab a partner and register by filling out the online registration form.

PUMPKIN PATCH SPONSORED BY THE DENTON-LAKE CITIES ROTARY
|
|
|
|
The Pumpkin Patch sponsored by the Denton-Lake Cities Rotary is so much more than picking out your pumpkin for the season!
This section of the event includes bounce houses, rides, pumpkin painting, vendors, the festival stage featuring community dance groups, pie-eating contests, costume contests, the pumpkin derby contest, and of course, a patch full of pumpkins!
The Denton-Lake Cities Rotary will sell pumpkins on-site for you to take home and carve with the family. The price of the pumpkin is determined by size.
The Pumpkin Patch will be open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., with some activities available until 9 p.m.

|
Step into the past and take a trip down memory lane at the Classic Car Show hosted by Unique Karz from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m in the Corinth Community Park parking lot.
If you are a car enthusiast and would like to show off a ride of your own, you can enter the contest for $15. The first 30 entries will receive a dash plaque.

Check-in/registration is from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Check-in at the City of Corinth Information Table. All three contests will take place in the Pumpkin Patch (see event map). For more contest information, click the button below.

PIE EATING CONTEST
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Bring your competitive spirit and appetite to this classic contest! Contestants will gorge on tasty pies in a race to be the first to finish.

Consider Build a pumpkin racer at home and bring it to Pumpkin Palooza to battle head-to-head for the trophy. View official rules.

Everyone from tiny tots to ghoulish grandmas and grandpas will have a chance to show off their best Halloween attire.

Come check out all of the FREE rides and activities Pumpkin Palooza has to offer! Rides and activities will run all day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
There are plenty of activities for both kids and parents, from rock-climbing and a pony carousel to a mechanical bull and laser tag!
Hop on one of the horse-drawn carriages for a scenic ride around Corinth Community Park! Wagon rides will be available from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., free of charge!
