The Tarpon Tag Story, as Told by Filmmaker G. Steve Jordan
When it comes to specialty license plates in Florida, we know you’ve got options. It just so happens that one of those options is our very own Tampa Bay Estuary License Plate, the sales of which fund dozens of community-based environmental projects each year, right here in Tampa Bay. Join the growing community of boaters, fishermen and nature enthusiasts who keep our playground on the road to recovery.
Around this time each year, our eyes are peeled for individuals who go above and beyond, conserving water resources and building backyard sanctuaries through Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ practices. If you or someone you know fits the bill, consider entering your landscape in the Tampa Bay Community Water-Wise Awards.
FYI: Today (June 1st) is the first day of our region's fertilizer ordinance. Learn more about the reason behind the ban and how to protect the bay while curating your own backyard paradise by visiting Be Floridian.
