CDS Office Technologies Receives Konica Minolta Top Performing Partner Award at 2019 Dealer Conference

Konica Minolta is pleased to announce its dealer award winners, recognizing accomplishments during its fiscal year ending March 31, 2018.

Through the success of its dealers, Konica Minolta ranks number one in 'highest average dealer revenue of any manufacturer,' according to The Cannata Report's 2018 Dealer Survey. The company honored top performers for their revenue growth and product sales at a dinner and awards ceremony at Segerstrom Center in Costa Mesa, CA.

CDS Office Technologies was recognized as one of the top three in North America for Managed IT Services revenue growth.

Sharp Releases Two New A4 Desktop Color MFPs

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America has introduced two new A4 desktop color MFPs for the technology-driven workplace. The new Advanced Series MX-C304W and Essentials Series MX-C303W boast full multifunction capability out of the box, including copy, print, scan and fax, as well as wireless networking for easy access from mobile devices.

The new models also share Sharp's easy-to-use 7-inch (diagonal) touch-screen display and offer exciting new features including conversational AI. The new MFP Voice feature with Amazon Alexa enables users to interact with the machine by using simple verbal commands. These models also easily integrate with today's complex network environments and offer quick access to an expanded list of cloud services that include Box and Dropbox, helping businesses manage their workflows with greater efficiency.

Panasonic is initiating the end of life (EOL) process for the TOUGHBOOK 33mk1 6th Gen (Skylake) model. The last buy deadline is May 31, 2019. All orders must be placed by this date for fulfillment.   Units with the 6th Gen Skylake Intel chips will ship with Win10, but can be downgraded to Win 7.  Once these units are gone, only the 7th generation chips will be available and customers will no longer be able to downgrade to Win7.

As the Deputy Fire Chief for the Plainfield Fire Protection District it has been my pleasure to work with and oversee Alex Medina. Alex provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Fire District in the ever changing  field of technology. Alex has adapted well to the platforms that the Fire District utilizes to provide our life safety services. Additionally, Alex continues to monitor and upgrade our systems to ensure our network is quick, reliable, and safe.

Alex is very motivated and continues to take on new projects that he believes will benefit the organization. He is very well respected by not only the members of the Fire District but with other fire service agencies, our local dispatch agency, and county 911 center. When other agencies are calling Alex about technologies he has implemented for Plainfield, it's evident that he is talented and an asset to our organization. He is easy to talk to and completes his work assignments that have been assigned to him in a timely manner.
