Women's Network offers Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge Scholarship

The Greater Missouri Leadership Challenge is a state-wide program that meets for four, three-day sessions throughout the state providing leadership development, information and major discussions of state policy issues and areas addressing critical issues facing Missouri. The scholarship is open to Women's Network members and covers tuition, travel and trip accommodations.

Ron Marley Scholarship

Each year Women’s Network awards a scholarship to the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Columbia program in the name of Ron Marley.

Ron was a Shelter Insurance agent here in Columbia who was very active in the community and the Chamber of Commerce. He truly understood the power of networking and once he discovered what Women’s Network had to offer – he had the courage to become our first male member. Unfortunately, Ron, along with his wife Sharon and three of his four children, were tragically taken from us in a car accident in 1997. In his honor, Women’s Network established a scholarship to fund the tuition to send one Women’s Network member to the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Columbia program.

To apply, simply click the link below, fill out the application and denote interest in the Ron Marley Scholarship in the scholarship section of the application

Date: September 26, 2019
Time: 12 - 1 p.m.

When we feel good, we're more productive. At this don't-miss LDR, Women's Network President Krista Kippenberger will lead a discussion about our current programming inspiration: "Your Best Yes!" Saying "YES!" all the time won't make us wonder women, but it will make us worn-out women. Let's get in the habit of saying "NO!" to the wrong things so we can say "YES!" to our actual priorities.

LDR’s are great, free professional development opportunities lead by esteemed professionals in Columbia. Discussions are free to attend and are open to members and non-members. Bring your lunch and join in on the conversation, or sit back and take it all in!
