July Wednesday Webinars: NAR Settlement and Form Changes

Idaho REALTORS® is excited to announce a new series of webinars this July, discussing the recent industry changes due to the proposed NAR Settlement as well as introduce our new forms changes. We will be hosting three webinars to allow members to register and join for whichever time works best for their schedules. Each Webinar will include an overview of the current status of the NAR Settlement, an introduction to the new form changes IR has made in response to the settlement, FAQs, and member questions directly from our audience. Please register for the Webinar time that best suits your schedule.

• Wednesday, July 31st, at 1 PM MT

Each session will include discussion from speakers including IR President Katrina Wehr, CEO David Hensley, Legal Counsel Jason Risch, and Form Committee Chair Krista Deacon. ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS: 2024 REALTOR® OF THE YEAR!

• Nominations due July 15th, 2024, by 5:00 PM MT.
• Final Applications Due August 5th, 2024, by 5:00 PM MT.

The REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY) award is designed to recognize and honor REALTOR® members of the Idaho REALTORS® who have demonstrated outstanding effort and work in the interest of their fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the community. This prestigious award highlights exemplary contributions and showcases the dedication and impact of REALTORS® to the public.

Two-Step Nomination Process for 2024

This year, the ROTY award process will follow a two-step approach. First, local associations or members will nominate a nominee for the Idaho REALTOR® of the Year. Following the nomination, the nominee will then be required to submit a comprehensive application. This process ensures that each nominee is thoroughly evaluated based on their achievements and contributions.

GUIDELINES & RESTRICTIONS

• Previous Idaho REALTOR® of the Year winners are NOT eligible.
• Nominations must be submitted on the IR website by July 15th, 2024
• Completed ROTY Applications must be submitted by August 5, 2024 at 5:00 pm with a candidate statement and a current high-resolution photo to qualify.
• An individual member may submit one at-large candidate for consideration for Idaho REALTOR® of the Year.
• Each local Board/Association may submit one candidate for consideration.
• Review additional Judging Criteria prior to completing the application.

Submit Your Form Suggestions

Do you have suggestions or proposed changes for the Idaho REALTORS® Forms? IR is currently collecting suggested form changes via our website. We welcome our members to share feedback and suggested changes with us. Please remember to share the RE form number with your suggestion. Sign Up for REALTOR® Party Mobile Alerts!

REALTOR® Party Mobile Alerts, NAR’s advocacy texting platform, offers REALTOR® Associations and REALTORS® a way to stay connected directly from their cell phone or tablet.

When a national or state legislative call for action is launched, subscribers get a short text message, containing information to take action.

ICYMI: Second Round for Idaho REALTORS® Community Support Grant Applications

Following an incredible spring season with multiple grants awarded to various members around Idaho, we are excited to share that we are launching our second round of the 2024 Community Support Grant Program. Idaho REALTORS® still has $2,700 available for local community programs. This grant program is designed to empower local associations and member projects that are innovative, effective, and align with IR's commitment to fostering communities across Idaho. If you have a project that you think will help your community, we want to hear from you!

The 2024 Community Support Grant Program will close the application period on August 2nd. We encourage timely application submissions to ensure that your project is considered. 2024 Convention Early Bird Registration Now Open

Don’t miss your CHANCE to take advantage of EARLY BIRD savings for the 2024 Idaho REALTORS® Convention!

Early Bird Tickets are available for $289. Early bird registration ends July 19th, at which point the registration cost will rise rise to $350.

The Idaho REALTORS® 2024 Convention will take place at the Boise Centre East conference center located in downtown Boise, ID!

Save the date for the Idaho REALTORS® 2024 Convention, October 1st – 4th! This week-long event will feature a variety of educational classes, keynote address, a board of directors and membership meeting, and the inaugural celebration for the incoming 2025 IR President – Julie Anglesey.
