Supporting the REALTORS® Relief Foundation

realtor_relief_foundation_header image
Donate to RRF

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and with Hurricane Milton threatening communities along the Gulf Coast, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation (RRF) is once again stepping up to provide critical assistance to those in need. The destruction and displacement caused by these events have left many families without homes or basic necessities, and RRF's commitment to helping impacted communities has never been more vital.

RRF was present at our Idaho REALTORS® Convention this year, where we reaffirmed our support for the foundation’s mission. During the week of convention, Idaho REALTORS® agreed to match up to $2,500 in member donations to RRF. Not only did individual members donate more than $2,500 for the match, organizations such as LCAR, BRR, GPAR, and IMLS all made their own significant contributions to assist RRF. These funds from donations will go directly toward providing relief for those affected by the hurricanes and other significant disasters this year.

Idaho REALTORS® is proud to partner with RRF, and we encourage our members to support their efforts. You can contribute to ongoing relief efforts and help families recover by visiting REALTOR® Relief Foundation’s website and making a donation. Every contribution, big or small, helps rebuild lives and strengthens communities.

Introducing the 5x25 PAG—Shaping the Future of Idaho REALTORS® Facilities

Volunteer for the 5x25 PAG

During the General Membership Meeting on October 4th, IR President Katrina Wehr introduced the new 5x25 Presidential Advisory Group (PAG), which will focus on planning and optimizing Idaho REALTORS® facilities to support our organization’s growth and evolving needs.

The purpose of the 5x25 PAG is to address five critical questions about our current and future facilities before December 31, 2025. The group will work to assess our needs, explore renovation options for the existing building, and determine if purchasing a new facility would be more beneficial in the long term. The PAG’s findings and recommendations will help guide Idaho REALTORS® in making strategic decisions to better serve our members for years to come. The 5x25 PAG will be chaired by Mark Jones and consist of 3 REALTORS® from each of Idaho’s districts. The PAG will address the following key questions:

  1. What are our current facility needs?
  2. What are our future or projected facility needs over the next 25 years?
  3. Is renovation of the existing building a viable option? Are previous renovation plans still relevant, and under what scenarios would renovation be the better option?
  4. Under what scenarios should Idaho REALTORS® purchase a new building?
  5. What is the PAG’s recommendation? What are the next steps we should take?

This is an exciting opportunity for Idaho REALTORS® to proactively plan for the future and ensure our facilities can support us for decades to come. Sign up today to volunteer to join the 5x25 PAG.
