Mark your calendar for REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors Volunteer Days taking place June 3-11, 2023. Join Idaho REALTORS® and NAR as we encourage associations and members across the country to organize and participate in a local volunteer activity.
This event aims to encourage REALTORS® to make a difference in their communities by volunteering their time and resources to help those in need. REALTORS® are encouraged to participate by joining local association's volunteer events or getting involved with their favorite non-profit. There are many ways to volunteer, including organizing a neighborhood cleanup, volunteering at a food bank, or volunteering for a Habitat for Humanity build.
Let's work together to make a difference in our communities and show that REALTORS® are good neighbors.

Idaho REALTORS® Good Neighbor Award | | |

In case you missed it - the Idaho REALTORS® its own state Good Neighbor Award process earlier this year. This is a new Idaho award that recognizes REALTORS® who have made an extraordinary impact on their community through volunteer work.
The award focuses on the level and impact of personal contribution, the broadness of impact, and the project’s suitability as a role model for other REALTORS®. Nominees can document the results of their individual involvement through published reports and/or testimonials from the organization they served or the people they helped.

Riding with the Brand Round-Up | |
The Riding with the Brand event in Idaho was an incredible success! The event was held at the Idaho State Capitol Building on a brisk, but beautiful April afternoon, where members gathered to celebrate REALTOR® pride and community involvement. Over 200 REALTOR® members attended the event and were fortunate to hear from an impressive lineup of speakers which included Idaho Governor Brad Little, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) President Kenny Parcell, and Idaho’s own NAR President Elect Tracy Kasper. They discussed important topics such as REALTOR® advocacy, brand identity, and the Code of the West. | |

Idaho REALTORS® 2023 Scholarship Applications Available Until June 16th! | |
Idaho REALTORS® is offering several scholarships to qualified students for the 2023-2024 school year. High school seniors and full-time students enrolled in a college, university, or vocational-technical school can apply for two $2,500 scholarships or five $1,500 scholarships by submitting a completed application, official transcripts, three non-related reference letters, a high-resolution photo, and a short biography. Students must be US citizens and preference will be given to those studying real estate or a related field, attending schools in Idaho, or having a connection to a REALTOR® office or Affiliate business.
The deadline for applications is June 16, 2023, by 5 pm MT, and applicants should send their materials to [email protected] or Idaho REALTORS® at 10116 W Overland Rd, Boise, Idaho 83709.

Local Government Affairs Committee Guide Available Now! | |

Idaho REALTORS® recently released a local government affairs committee guide. This guide is aimed at helping members become a trusted and influential voice on real estate matters within their communities. It covers the basics of government affairs and the necessary steps to establishing and maintaining relationships with public officials and staff. The guide also provides information on advocacy, developing an action plan, building a grassroots network, and includes additional resources to help members effectively shape policies at the city, county, state, and national levels.

Idaho REALTORS® is hosting a series of Virtual Brokers Summits this May on the 23rd and the 25. These summits are aimed towards brokers in the North, South, East, and West districts and, and it promise to be an informative and engaging events.
