Receive your ABR Designation in 2023

Register Today

In 2023, the Idaho REALTORS® and Boise Regional REALTORS® will offer two courses to help members earn the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation. The first course, the ABR Designation Course, will be held on May 24-25. The second course, the Marketing Strategy and Lead Generation ABR Elective will be held on December 5th. Members taking both courses will receive their ABR designation for 2023.

What Is The ABR Designation?

The ABR designation is for real estate buyer's agents who focus on working with buyer-clients throughout the home-buying process. Earning the ABR designation involves completing the two-day core designation course and one ABR elective course and documenting five completed transactions in which the agent acted as a buyer representative. In addition, the agent must be a member in good standing of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC) and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). A passing score on the ABR exam is required for some states to receive continuing education credit. The cost of the courses and membership fees for REBAC will vary.
