Celebrating Our Students' Success

At New Settlement, we are incredibly proud of the accomplishments of our students! They already possess the qualities needed to reach great heights, and our comprehensive programs and supports serve as the catalyst that helps them excel even further.

Spotlight on Graduates

  • Samuel Mercado (pictured): Heading to Rochester Institute of Technology for mechanical engineering technology. A dedicated Student Success Center participant from Bronx High School for Medical Science, Samuel earned the Paramount CBS UNH Scholarship of $1,500.
  • Daphney Ramirez: Awarded the 2024 New York Power Authority Future Energy Leaders Scholarship of $10,000.

Our programs—including the Parent Action Committee for education equity, Community Health Initiatives, and more—add that extra layer of support, helping these already remarkable young people to thrive and succeed. These are just a few examples of how our youth programs are making a significant impact in The Bronx.
