Kick off Pride Month with some friendly competition at Pride Kickball!  Join us for a lively pick-up-game tournament where mixed teams from Rainbow Pride of WV, Huntington Pride, Parkersburg Pride, and Morgantown Pride come together for fun and community spirit.

No sign-ups needed—just show up ready to play or cheer. Bring your own seating, pack your coolers (no glass bottles, please), and enjoy snacks from the concession stand. Let’s make this Pride Kickball event a memorable celebration of community and queer joy!

The Wood County Women’s Rights Alliance invites you to The Queer Mountaineer, an opportunity to utilize the power of story telling to derive social and personal transformation in our community.

We want to hear from YOU! 

Join the Wood County Women’s Rights Alliance, MOVES, and Parkersburg Pride as we work together to lift up marginalized voices in West Virginia and the MOV.

Our June meeting will be dedicated to hearing stories from Queer individuals who grew up in West Virginia and surrounding areas. We are looking for 10-12 panelist speakers to share their story in a live panel discussion.

An *OPTIONAL* Q&A session will follow to continue the conversation. Participants in the Q&A portion will be given signs to answer or pass as they wish.

Please reach out to WCWRA Board members if you are interested in being a panelist! It will be first come first serve to speak on the panel. We will announce here when we are full!
