Girls across Malawi are cheering on over 70 AGE Africa supporters who are biking 20 miles in Washington, DC on September 10. The bike ride will raise funds to provide four-year scholarships for high-achieving girls in rural Malawi.

AGE Africa Scholars and CHATS members in the Mulanje and Mangochi Districts are organizing community bike rides as well, to demonstrate that no distance is too far for a determined girl.

No matter the challenge, our scholars are determined to reach the educational finish line. In fact, the majority of AGE Africa Scholars have perfect school attendance records and over 95% graduate from secondary school.

Many CHATS members at Community Day Secondary Schools (CDSS) in the Mulanje District walk or bike extreme distances to school each day. Some scholars travel up to 20 miles roundtrip, which takes around 6 hours daily.

Let's go the distance for the girls' in Malawi and make our scholars proud! Join us in changing girls' lives by participating in our virtual fundraiser today.
