The results are in! AGE Africa scholars have done it again and achieved outstanding academic results this year. We're delighted to feature our top-performing scholars and congratulate all of our girls for their continued commitment to making the most of their educational journeys. Bright minds create bright futures!

Congratulations To Our Top Performing Scholars!

This year, fourteen AGE Africa scholars and CHATS members scored seven A's or more on their Junior Certificate Exams (JCE)! This is a huge achievement. In Malawi, all students in Form 2 take a rigorous secondary school exam to measure academic performance. Students who do not pass cannot enter upper secondary school, and often drop out. Last year, 98% of AGE Africa scholars passed the exam compared to just 71% of girls nationwide. Our scholars continue to raise the academic bar. We especially congratulate the eight CHATS Girls' Club members who received eleven A's (a perfect score) in all subject areas. We proudly present the 2022 AGE Africa JCE Honor Roll:

Featured Scholar: Chipulumutso Maloya

AGE Africa scholar Chipulumutso Maloya is a Form 2 student at St. Michael's Secondary School in Mangochi. She achieved outstanding academic results in her first term, scoring 7 A's in Mathematics, English, Chichewa, Geography, Agriculture, and Bible Knowledge. Chipulumutso's dream is to become an accountant. "We learn to achieve greater goals with passion," she states. We are proud of Chipulumutso's outstanding commitment to her education. She will be taking her final Junior Certificate Examination (JCE) in August 2022. We have full hope that she will make it to upper secondary school, and look forward to watching her dreams come true!
