When Doreen Manyamba, Maria Mateyu, and Evelyn Billiati were selected to be AGE Africa scholars in 2016, they dreamed of becoming nurses. Over the past four years, they studied hard at Mulanje Secondary School, staying focused on their dreams.
This month, the three scholars sat for their entrance examinations at Mulanje Mission School of Nursing and Midwifery. As part of our new tertiary education support program, AGE Africa facilitated their travel and entrance exam fees.
Today, Doreen, Maria, and Evelyn are not only well on their way to becoming nurses, but they have also formed friendships with one another that will last a lifetime.
Congratulations Doreen, Maria, and Evelyn and thank you for reminding us to stay committed to our dreams!
