CARE's spring symposium will be virtual this year, April 9th, 2021.
We will host virtual student and post-doc posters of rehabilitation research and poster prizes will be given for several categories.
This year, Edelle Field-Fote from Emory University / Shepard Center will be our keynote speaker.
For poster submissions, all you need for now to register is your name and title of your poster.

AR3T invites you for the final installment of the three-part Frontiers of Regenerative Rehabilitation speaker series. Dr. David Reinkensmeyer, Professor at the Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California Irvine, will discuss how robotics can play a role in regenerative rehabilitation and will examine the “exploration model” of motor recovery after neurologic injury.

Postdoctoral Fellowships at Stanford University
Digital Human Modeling
A team of faculty at Stanford University, including Professors Scott Delp, Garry Gold, Karen Liu, Akshay Chaudhari, Ellen Kuhl, Oussama Khatib, Fei Fei Li, and Serena Yeung is accepting applications for several Postdoctoral Fellows in digital human modeling. Individuals with backgrounds in biomechanics, neuroscience, biomedical imaging, biomedical informatics, robotics, and computer science are all welcome to apply.

Mission Connect requests proposals for consideration for funding in the area of treatments for acute, subacute and/or chronic conditions associated with SCI or TBI/concussion. Applicants must be active members of Mission Connect for at least one year. Inter‐ and/or intra‐institutional collaborations between Mission Connect members are highly encouraged. For the 2021‐2023 cycle, Mission Connect anticipates funding up to eight meritorious two-year grants.

The Psychosocial Research (PSR) portfolio supports research that addresses the interrelation of behavioral, social, psychological and other quality of life factors that will benefit people living with spinal cord injury. Areas of interest include: aging, caregiving, employment, health behaviors and fitness, independent living, self-management and technology access.
3/3/21: Letter of Intent closes for 2022 cycle
The Spinal Cord Injury Research on the Translational Spectrum (SCIRTS) portfolio supports research to improve the understanding of traumatic spinal cord injury and develop new approaches to alleviate the dysfunction and complications that follow. The scope of this portfolio is broad, encompassing mechanistic, preclinical modeling, translational and/or clinical research.
