A new Common Fund program on artificial intelligence (AI), Bridge2AI, is being launched to collect new, AI-ready data to address grand challenges in health.
Grand challenges include movement phenotyping, (particularly relevant to fields of motion analysis and wearable technology), Salutogenesis, the process by which individuals move from a less healthy to a healthier state, and Precision Public Health.

The Spinal Cord Injury Research on the Translational Spectrum (SCIRTS) portfolio supports research to improve the understanding of traumatic spinal cord injury and develop new approaches to alleviate the dysfunction and complications that follow. The scope of this portfolio is broad, encompassing mechanistic, preclinical modeling, translational and/or clinical research.
