Report on Federal Activities

June 2025

Director's Note

Yá'át'ééh,

As we launch our monthly Report on Federal Activities, I want to thank you for your continued trust and engagement with the Navajo Nation Washington Office. Our goal with this report is to deepen transparency and communication between our office and the Navajo people. Each month, we will provide updates across our monitoring areas, share insights from federal meetings, and outline developments in tribal consultations and executive actions.

Over the past month, our team has remained vigilant in tracking federal policies that impact the Navajo Nation, as well as engaged directly with congressional offices, federal agencies, and intergovernmental partners. These efforts ensure we are positioned to respond to emerging legislation and advocate effectively on behalf of our communities.

We hope this monthly update serves not only as a summary of our work in Washington, DC, but also a bridge to keep our communities informed. Thank you for your continued support as we advocated for the future of the Navajo Nation.
