Mark your calendar for October 28, National First Responders Day. Support your local heroes by educating them about potential electrical hazards at the scene with the First Responder Safety Campaign. You can use the video in its entirety or play by chapter. There is also a PowerPoint presentation complete with embedded video chapters. In addition, if you would like to provide video DVDs to the firehouses in your service area, those are available for purchase as well; simply email info@SafeElectricity.org to indicate how many DVDs you would like at $3 each plus shipping.
Speaking of safety, if you are attending the Safety Leadership Summit in Austin later this month, check out Safe Electricity Executive Director Erin Hollinshead’s presentation at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 19.
