Restaurant Week Continues
One of the most popular events in the Valley,  Vail Beaver Creek Restaurant Week continues into October. Come enjoy a wide variety of prix fixe menus and specials all set at $20.17 from some of the best restaurants throughout Vail and Beaver Creek.

Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame
One of the biggest celebrations in the ski industry is set for Saturday, October 14th, as Vail plays host to the Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame Induction Gala. A few of this year's notable inductees include Aspen legend Chris Davenport, SKEA Ltd. owner, president and designer Diane Boyer, and recently retired Steamboat Ski Resort president and author Chris Diamond. Proceeds from the benefit aid the continued development of the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum in Vail.

Man of the Cliff
What has become a cult favorite among locals, the Man of The Cliff returns for it's 9th year. A true fall classic, the event is comprised of outdoor, rugged activities modified to fit all strength and ability levels. From the caber toss and tug of war to the axe throw and archery, this event would make Paul Bunyan proud. Held at picturesque Nottingham Lake in Avon, 100% of all funds raised benefit the local charity, First Descents .
VSSC Ski and Snowboard Swap
Back for its 48th year, Ski Club Vail's annual Ski & Snowboard SWAP is the best place to find everything from alpine, snowboard, telemark and nordic equipment to accessories such as helmets, gloves and goggles. A percentage of the sales benefits the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail which continues to inspire excellence as the premier ski and snowboard competition program in the world.

Vail Centre Hospitality Symposium
In conjunction with the Vail Centre, Cornell University is offering a 4-day course on Financial Management within the Hospitality industry from October 15th-18th. With the goal of learning how to analyze hospitality operations, the emphasis will be on communicating and interpreting financial data from a General Manager perspective.
