Action Items
  •  Bed Blitz- Robert Bosquez will talk to us at the September Big Table Meeting. However, there are deadlines that are quickly approaching yo should be aware of if you are planning to get beds for your families. Applications will be available later this week and are due  on September 22. The actual build will be on October 14. Click here for web link.
  • Eastern Illinois Food Bank will also come to our Big Table meeting to talk about their services including school pantries, mobile food bank trucks and other resources available. Click here for web link.
  • Cedar Ridge is hosting a clothing drive and needs donations of children's clothing and shoes. You can drop off items at Cedar Ridge School. Or contact us to arrange for a pick up.

  Promise Shoes! Donate your new or gently used   shoes at either Public school district offices.
  •   Let’s Enjoy a Night of Baseball
We sincerely appreciate the partnership between Heartland and the Promise Councils within the community so let’s say goodbye to summer with a fun night of baseball and bonding in the Heartland suite at the corn Crib. Please consider joining us for the final home game of the season on  Saturday, August 26 as the CornBelters take on the River City Rascals. Gates open at 5:35 p.m. First pitch is at 6:35 p.m.
FREE Tickets, Popcorn &V.I.P. Parking!  Plus, photos with  the Inflatamaniacs .
You can expect a ticket to the game plus free water and popcorn. Here is a stadium map that shows  our suite (#201) which is also conveniently located across from a full-service concession stand and a concourse area that is filled with fun activities . 

Tell the parking attendant you are in the Heartland Community College suite and they will waive you up to the V.I.P., concourse-level parking.  Park anywhere you can find a spot there.
