Journey Churchin Michigan is challenging their congregation to give $20,000 over and above their normal giving. This initiative will serve their community, their city and other countries.
Northern Lakes Church in Wisconsin is partnering with Ruby's Pantry. Ruby's Pantry is a faith based organization that procures and distributes corporate surplus food and goods. They use the Cumberland Fire Hall to distribute the goods.
The Gathering Church in Illinois is hosting a Christmas Scavenger Hunt for their community. They put together a fun list of items and activities seen around their town and asked people to take a photo/video then send this into the church.
Dental & Vision Plan Opportunity for GLR Churches
Did you know that the Great Lakes Region offers voluntary dental and vision plans as a benefit to every employee at each one of our churches? You do not need to be full time to qualify; anyone can join. Our dental plan is with Delta Dental of Michigan and our vision plan is with Vision Service Plan (VSP). Both plans offer exceptional coverage with a wide range of participating doctors. Churches in Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin can all participate.
