Uplifting the Community one box at a time

Over 240 registered volunteers showed their support for our annual Ramadan food box assembly and distribution. Over 2,400 boxes were assembled and distributed. Nearly 500 cars attended our drive thru pick up. Additionally partner masjid and community organizations from San Diego, Long Beach, LA, Inland Empire, Tijuana, stopped by to fill their uHauls and take food back to their communities.

Special thanks to SoCal Honda Dealers and the Helpful Honda team, Islamic Relief USA, West Coast Islamic Society, Shia Muslim Council, and OC Food Bank, IIOC - Masjid Omar Al Farouk and many more for assisting with volunteers, support, venue, and logistics. We were also grateful for the SoCal Halal Foodie for bringing 7,000 pounds of chicken from A-Noorhi Meat Company. This was a bonus item for families who picked up food through our drive thru distribution.

For $35 a box you are gifting a family the basic essentials they need when breaking their fast.

We will be distributing our next batch of boxes the second Saturday of May.

Items in our food boxes include staple items such as Lentils, Rice, Olive Oil, Hummus, Tomato paste, Flour, Sugar, Tea, Pasta, and Canned Tuna
