Reach Missions Update

REACH - MEDITERRANEAN BAPTIST

The churches are experiencing the blessings of God. They are about to enter the very busy Christmas season with many opportunities to share the gospel. Please pray the pastors and people will be bold in their witness and see many come to Christ.

There is an area of Cairo that is being built with thousands of new homes and apartments. This provides a unique opportunity to plant a church and reach those that are moving into this area. Many of them are from upper Egypt and will have the difficulty to adjust to city life and will be open to exploring a new church. Pastor Eid Salib has assured me the fellowship will build the building if we can help them purchase the land. Because it is a new area, the land is very expensive, $60.000. We need 60 people to donate $1000. Please pray for this urgent need where the fields are white unto harvest.

Middle East Baptist Seminary just completed a survey trip to Uganda were some of our persecuted pastors from Sudan ended up. We are praying about doing an English School there. The new semester in Cairo is beginning with 37 students training for a BA degree and another 30 working on a Master’s degree. Pray as we continue to train future leaders for the churches.

REACH - JAMAICA

The church is growing and Noah’s Ark Boy’s Home is busy. When God is blessing, Satan will target. There are always challenges. It requires 10 fulltime workers and 2 part-time just to take care of the boys around the clock. Please pray we will have wisdom on dealing with all the issues that come up there in Jamaica.



Financially we have many needs. Consider this. Just to feed one boy it costs us minimally $35. per week. That does not include paying workers, education, medical, and other constant costs. We need 60 people to donate $35. per month just to feed the boys. Would you consider being one of those 60 donors?

REACH - YUCATAN

Phase one of the Oasis is nearing completion. Now we are turning our attention to the next phase of establishing a radio station. This area so needs a station that can broadcast the gospel into an area that has very few churches. Pray for us as we research the best way to accomplish this task in the coming months.



A great need we have is a missionary family to oversee and train our pastors in the Yucatan. Please pray the Lord will send just the right person.

PERSONAL

It has been a very busy time as I have travelled to Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky in meetings and even performed a wedding for a young lady I knew since she was in our church nursery. My health is finally back to normal and I have renewed energy. So very thankful for the good hand of the Lord on me and for the blessing of representing Reach.

My wife and I have not had time away for over a year and thanks to the generosity of some dear friends we are about to go on a cruise to Hawaii. It was gifted to us on our retirement from our church last year and we are finally able to take the trip. Needless to say, we are very excited!



Please pray as I am doing my best to book meetings for 2026. Also, we are scheduled to be in Egypt in March and September 2026, Lord willing. We also need to go to Yucatan and Jamaica. Honestly, I love these places and people, but the travel is hard.
