Archery Hunt in Moon Parks
September 19-January 23 (No Sunday hunts)
With the increasing deer population, Moon Township has decided to host a public (archery only) deer hunting program for the 2020-2021 season. This will allow a limited number of licensed hunters who applied for a permit to hunt at Moon Park, Olson Park, and Robin Hill Park during hunting season from September 19-January 23. There will be no Sunday hunting and there will be no firearms permitted. Hunters must have completed the Pennsylvania Basic Hunter-Trapper Education Course and have a valid archery hunting license. All Pennsylvania Game rules will apply.
The Hunter Access Program created a partnership between the Game Commission and the Township whereby they work together to improve the public hunting opportunities and wildlife habitat. This program allows hunters and trappers to help manage game and fur-bearer populations through lawful hunting and trapping. This program will be able to minimize the overpopulation of deer in Moon Township and the surrounding areas. By lowering the density of deer in the area, this will help to lower car accidents caused by deer, the growing tick population, and help to protect green space in Moon Township where deer are overeating. We have reached the permit limit for the time. For more information, visit www.moontwp.us.

We at MCA-TV are very excited to offer safe and fun production training classes here in our television studio as a way for students to further their education offline.
We will be offering a three hour production training course for all Moon Middle School and High School students on September 16th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. covering all aspects of producing a television show. This course will provide training on cameras, audio, and control room operations.
Upon completion of this course, these students will have the opportunity to become official MCA-TV volunteers and are free to assist on any productions here in the studio as well as the opportunity to help cover Moon football once sports are able to return to the field. Masks will be required throughout the duration of the class and social distancing will be enforced. Equipment will also be cleaned regularly.

This feature also allows users to find out when events are going on by asking questions such as "When is trick or treat?" or "What do I do with my tree limbs?" In addition, it can be used like the e-gov service offered online through the municipality to report problems and ask questions.
