Greetings!
Happy Holidays! The holiday season is typically a time for giving, sharing, and caring for others. We think of and try to help others. Last year, I suggested that together with our children, we could reach out to those who are less fortunate than us. Visit a children’s hospital ward, seniors in their homes, or serve food at a shelter. Unfortunately, this year we cannot do any of those things in person. Hopefully by next year we can once again return to a more normal holiday season.
But even during this pandemic, we can still teach our kids that there are people who are so much less fortunate than ourselves There are so many people who are suffering, depressed, and struggling financially and emotionally. In these difficult times we can educate and instill a sense of awareness, generosity and service in our children. We can make this world a better place for all. This month’s featured book looks at the emotional and physical struggle of a young disabled girl, an army vet. It deals with the struggles so many face, just like today. It is a positive story of hope.
I am happy to donate sets of my books to children’s hospitals and special needs schools, so if you are affiliated with one, please let me know and I will send them a set of books.
I also donate a significant portion of book proceeds to children’s charities. And because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, I am offering discounts on all my books on my website and on Amazon. The Moonlight Puppies store on Amazon is now open and all the books are available as ebooks. If you can, please take a moment to visit my Amazon store and write a review of one or more of my books.
