Christmas Lights and Cambria Sights

Last week I picked the only cold and gloomy day for my Build a Kit Pop-Up event. Cait, Will, and I took turns layering up to show-off beautiful kits from Gusto/Urth Yarns out front of the shop. Those kits are now available online!

I recently got to spend some touristy/Christmasy time with my good friends Chris & Kathy from Oregon. We checked out the Elephant Seals, Wine Tasting at Hearst Winery, and the Cambria Lodge Christmas Lights. It was a busy week!

I'm still getting new yarns and yarny gifts in each day! But remember that a Gift Card always makes a great gift!

Moonshine...Wool, Alpaca, Silk Luxury!

Once I started knitting my Nordic Bloom Vest, I could not put it down!

Moonshine from Juniper Moon Farm was a new addition to the shop in September and I am in love with its luxurious blend of all my favorites...wool, alpaca and silk! I just knew it would be perfect for this vest (even if it wasn't bulky weight).

It's a great addition to the other luxurious wool / alpaca / silk blends I offer in the shop...Silkpaca (Fingering Weight), Fino (Fingering Weight) and Silk Blend (DK Weight).

Toasty Tootsies with Fun Felted Slippers

I've been seeing the new Sailor Slippers from Annie Germain everywhere! These felted slippers are the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one or a fun project for yourself during some relaxing time. They are a quick knit using Bulky Weight yarns that are machine felted.

I just added Wooldorf from Gusto yarns specifically for this project. The palette provides tons of options for beautiful striped combinations.

The Young and Trendy yarns or the Slippers yarn from Laines Du Nord are other great choices for felted slippers!

Sip & Stitch will be Back in the New Year on Jan 7th

We had such a good time last week at the Holiday Sip & Stitch with the elephant-style gift exchange. Maybe we'll do it again at the next one on Wednesday January 7th in celebration of "Little Christmas".

This event is FREE and meets in the shop from 4-6PM.

Course & Wale has decided to shut down their business, but I'm stocked up on their fine teas and wines for sale during this event.

Friday Fiber Friends Meets Every Week!

Join us in the shop every Friday from 12 - 1:30PM for Community Stitching Fun! Bring your current project or pick out your next project. Get some help or give some help. There really are no rules!
