Thank you to everyone who came to help us recognize and celebrate all of our youth and volunteer achievements this past year. The food was delicious and the addition of family games made the time fly by!

Adventure Awaits
4-H Summer Camps
Our summer camp information will be released shortly! We will, once again, offer a 4-H member discounted rate to attend our camps. If you are not enrolled in 4HOnline by March 31st, you will be responsible for the increased camp rates. Participants do not have to be in a local club to enroll as a member. If you still need to enroll, please use the helpful links found here to assist with that process.

Sandhills Farm Tour
Want to connect with and support those who grow your food? Join Moore County Cooperative Extension for our third annual Sandhills Self Driving Farm tour. More than a dozen farms from Broadway to Ellerbe are featured on this tour. See how strawberries, flowers, greenhouse vegetables, both organic and conventional, are raised. See colorful chickens, ostriches, goats, pigs, and other animals on pasture. Farm raised products will be available for purchase.

Celebrating North Carolina 4-H _ Ever Green
North Carolina 4-H Ever Green Celebration
Join us as we celebrate and reconnect with the 4-H Family while also honoring Lifetime Achievement Awards, Hall of Fame, Family Legacy Awards and Partners in 4-H. We invite 4-H alumni, family, friends, volunteers, and donors to attend.  This will be a time for fun, food, fellowship and a showcase of 4-H programs across the state.

Time: 5:30pm Reception; 6:30pm Program/Dinner
Cost: $50/person

NC State Environmental Career Day Photo
NC State Environmental Career Day
This will be a fantastic, hands-on event for students to explore a wide variety of unique environmental majors at NC State and the exciting careers to which they can lead.  High school students who are considering majors related to the environment are encouraged to attend.

Open House
NC State College of Veterinary Medicine Open House 
Go behind the scenes at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine and NC State Veterinary Hospital during their annual open house. The o pen house includes hospital tours, visits with animals of all shapes and sizes, exhibits on veterinary medicine and animal care from students, faculty and staff, and much more.

County Activity Day





4-H County Activity Day
Presentations and public speaking are routinely recognized as one of the most valuable life skills 4-H can offer!  County Activity Day  provides an opportunity for youth to communicate by sharing their thoughts and/or showcasing their talents. County Activity Day opportunities include: presentations, public speaking, impromptu, interpretive reading, storytelling, char-grill, dance, vocal, instrumental, skits, etc.
    
*New this year - if youth wish to attend NC 4-H Congress in July, they need to participate at County Activity Day.

NC 4-H Photography Contest

NC 4-H Photography Contest
This statewide annual contest highlights NC 4-H members photographic achievements.  The exhibit is unveiled at 4-H Congress in Raleigh, North Carolina, each summer. The winning photos are then displayed at select meetings and events throughout the year until the next Congress.
