Moorestown Construction and More Update

Dear Parents,

We are still moving along. Preparation for the ADA bathrooms and elevator are complete. The Moorestown professionals began reviewing final approvals to do the fire sprinklers, electrical work, and minimal plumbing. The driveway widening and installation of the fire hydrants is supposed to start this coming week. Inside work is supposed to begin at the end of this week, beginning of next week, the latest. The contractor is still confident we will be able to move in September.

I reached out to a business in Medford because I liked their sign. It turns out they do signs and interior design. The owner loved the idea of the school and offered to help with the sign and an interior design consultation. I am meeting with her and their painter this afternoon.

Enrollment has been going really well! We continue to have tours and newly enrolled families. They are expressing their excitement about the school and new location. Also, I want to express that I really appreciate so many of the communications of support and understanding I have received from families, new and existing, regarding this transition.

Regarding the garage, as you can see by the pictures, we could really use the help. I am going to spend one to two hours on it everyday this week. We need to pull stuff out and organize it in sections by toddler, primary, elementary and shelving groups. I can coordinate times if anyone is available during the week. This Saturday, I can be available in the morning and I can be available on Sunday anytime. I am not making scheduled days and times, because this just seems to be the easiest way to go about tackling this situation.
Lastly, I want to try and sell the Jacuzzi. The insurance company is not allowing me to keep it, unless if I put a fence around it. So to me, it just does not seem worth it. If you know anyone in the market for what is probably a really good, barely used Jacuzzi, please let me know. Additionally, we had to take out the custom closet where the elementary classroom is on the second floor. That is available too. I really do not know if it is worth to try and get some money for it, for the school or to just try to give it to someone.

I plan on having an additional update for everyone this Friday. Thank you again for your support. We are looking forward to getting things underway and especially in Moorestown. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you continue to enjoy your summer!

Sincerely,
