Conference Highlights
September was a busy month for Banning Engineering as we attended several important conferences, strengthening relationships, exchanging ideas, and connecting with leaders across Indiana and beyond.
We kicked things off in Fort Wayne at the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) Annual Conference, which brings together county officials and industry professionals to discuss issues impacting local government. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with many of our municipal clients and friends, including enjoying a wonderful meal together at Paula's on Main.
We also attended the Great Lakes ESOP Conference, hosted by The ESOP Association (TEA), which focuses on the benefits, opportunities, and best practices of employee ownership. As a 100% employee-owned company, Banning takes great pride in our ESOP and the opportunities it creates for our team. October is also Employee Ownership Month, and we're celebrating with games, fun facts, and activities highlighting what makes employee ownership so special. At Banning, our employees are more than just employees. They're owners, with a personal stake in our company's success!
We wrapped up the month at the Accelerate Indiana Municipalities (AIM) Ideas Summit, which brings together municipal leaders and industry partners to share ideas and address challenges facing Indiana's communities. We enjoyed connecting with many of these leaders throughout the conference and hosting our annual breakfast, a tradition we always look forward to.
These conferences are a great reminder of the importance of building relationships, staying informed, and investing in the communities we serve and the people who make Banning Engineering what it is today.
