Spud Speech Claims Ninth Straight State Championship

Three seniors—Eleanor Culloton, Evan Froslie and Allie Skauge—captured individual state crowns and 15 other Spuds medaled in their categories as the Spud Speech team secured their eye-popping ninth straight state title in Shakopee on April 26. For Culloton and Froslie, it is their second straight year with individual championships.

The Early Education Lab, a satellite JumpStart classroom, is located inside the MHS Career Academy. This location helps facilitate unique interactions between MHS students and JumpStart Spuds that are memorable for the youngsters and valuable for the development of the high schoolers.

KVRR's Gabriel Ostler stopped by Dorothy Dodds Elementary to report on Inchy's Bookworm Vending Machine, which is in its second year of operation at Dodds. Located just outside the school's media center, the machine remains very popular among Dodds' Spuds.
