The next Hi-Needs Drive is for new, full-size cosmetics and personal products for men and women to be donated to Golden Gate Senior Center. Please place your items in the basket near Moss Hall by April 15. March donations of baby wipes and hand sanitizer for the Baby Basics organization were bountiful and much appreciated by those new moms in need. The eyeglass donation project is completed. The Lions Club accepts glasses throughout the year.
Presbyterian Women Luncheon for April 13 at 11:30 a.m. will feature speaker Carrie Kerskie, CEO of Griffon Force Academy on “Identity Theft, Fraud, and Scams.” This is an important presentation for both men and women. Invite your friends. Carrie is a nationally famous speaker who has been on both major news and interview programs on TV. Two of her books will be available for sale. The sign-up clipboard will be at the welcome desk. The deadline for meal sign-up will be April 9. Anyone is welcome to come to listen, even at the last minute. Evie’s delicious lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Pay $10 each to Presbyterian Women, stating luncheon on the memo line. Prepayment is expected. If you cannot attend, be sure to remove your name. PW must pay for all meals that are ordered. The table offers will be Birthday Offerings for PWUSA. These funds combine with those from across the country to support about a half-dozen causes. Hostesses from Lydia and Naomi Circles will decorate Moss Hall in a festive spring theme.
