Interim Pastor Coming!
The Rev. Dr. Pablo R. Diaz and his wife, Elba, will be joining our congregation on Monday, January 24. Dr. Diaz has been preaching since his teens and in pastoral ministry since 1981. His life mission is to help people from all walks of life to maximize their spiritual and personal potential. Recently he served as the Interim Pastor at Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Dunedin, Florida. Helping the church emerge from the pandemic and embrace their future with hope filled him with joy and satisfaction.

Prior to serving St. Andrews, Dr. Diaz was the Vice President of Ministries for Guideposts for fifteen years. He lead the team in developing and expanding the following ministries: Prayer, Publications, Knit for Kids, Guideposts for Kids Comfort Kit, Military, and more. He traveled within and outside of the United States to meet with Armed Forces chaplains and on mission trips with ministry partners.
He is an independent certified coach, teacher and speaker with The John Maxwell Team. He has taught classes on leadership at the New York Theological Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary School. Dr. Diaz is a contributing writer for the annual Daily Guideposts Devotional. He is the author of the booklet, Empowered by Faith: You Are Stronger Than You Think and of the weekly blog, Life, Faith and Prayer.

Dr. Diaz was born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, NY. He graduated with a B.S. in Social Work from New York University and earned his Master in Divinity from Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Newton, MA. He completed his Doctor of Ministry degree with distinction from Drew Theological Seminary in Madison, NJ. He and his wife, Elba have been married for forty years.
