Welcome back! We are pleased to announce two upcoming screenings at Anthology Film Archives in New York City. On April 30th, we will premiere the long-lost film "Palestine Vaincra (Palestine Will Win)" as part of the Prismatic Ground Film Festival. Later in May, our "African Spiritualities" theatrical series continues with screenings of two documentaries: Al Santana's "Voice of the Gods" and Manthia Diawara's "AI: African Intelligence" on May 26-27. Get your tickets now!
Also, Iris Morales' film "¡Palante, Siempre Palante!" was selected for the new distribution initiative ELEV8Docs, powered by Color Congress. It is one of two dozen films that will take part in a series of 8 marketing experiments throughout 2025 that aims to address distribution barriers that filmmakers of color face, from a lack of cultural competency among mainstream marketing and PR agencies, to a lack of data on diverse audience tastes and nonfiction consumption habits. The marketing experiments will be documented in case studies published in early 2026. Visit their website to learn more about this initiative, subscribe to their newsletter, and watch documentaries from the Color Congress community!
