As
ArtsWave
puts it, in moments of crisis and stress, we can find courage, inspiration, hope and camaraderie in the arts — music, theater, dance, festivals, museums and more. Cincinnati arts are eager for you to resume participating in their activities as soon as it's safe to do so. In the meantime,
ArtsWave has launched its Coronavirus Arts hub, hoping these mindful moments make a different kind of impact.

Americans for the Arts | Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resource and Response Center
Americans for the Arts
continues to closely monitor recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Federal and D.C. governments as developments evolve concerning the coronavirus.
They have compiled
a list of resources
and opened an
impact survey.
The 5 minute survey will capture a broad spectrum of data and stories that will demonstrate how the arts and culture workers triumphed and survived this crisis as well as the effect of the outbreak on operations through cancelled events, lost wages, and additional expenses.
While the situation continues to unfold, they will keep their page updated daily as news and information becomes available.

Manifest Gallery | Submission Process of Season 17 Now Open

Manifest Gallery
has issued a statement regarding the COVID-19 crisis.
The gallery is continuing
current and future exhibition and publication processes Submissions to their projects will continue to be accepted. They will be making additional efforts to share images of exhibited works and installation shots via social media during the foreseeable future to provide 'virtual access'.
Manifest invites visual artists to submit solo proposals of various types and accepts these on an ongoing basis. Open to all traditional and non-traditional genre and media. Types of proposals include solo exhibits, two person exhibits, and group shows. A separate solo/proposal process will be offered for both photo and ceramic-specific works, with applications being accepted starting in early 2020. $50 non-refundable submission fee. Deadline:

Arts + Education at the Hoyt Exhibition
|
Artists are invited to apply to Arts & Education at the Hoyt. While not necessarily limited to artists age 21+ from the Mid-Atlantic region, preference is given to proposals stemming from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware and Washington D.C.
You must be able to demonstrate mature talent with a consistent body of work. While most media will be considered, video and installation are discouraged due to the historic nature of the facilities.

Columbia Tusculum Community Art Installation Project 2020

"Bridging the Past to the Future" is a collaborative, outdoor art installation project that will take place in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood. Produced by
The Carnegie Center of Columbia Tusculum
, t
he goal of the project is to engage residents and visitors in/to the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood with community-collaborated art while visiting historic parts of the neighborhood.
Artists will be connected with a Columbia Tusculum host-resident to plan, create and display a (front) yard-art installation. The art will be viewed for free by the general public during the corresponding week to the 2020 Homearama in Columbia Tusculum; September 13-27, 2020. This outdoor art event coincides with the 2020 Homearama taking place in our community.
Timeline:

and will be selected by the second week in May.

• give artists, curators, producers, of any discipline, the opportunity to showcase their talents, services, and creativity in a way that might not otherwise be feasible due to cost

• foster unique artistic activity
• be experiential in nature, engaging with the community

Amplifier Global Open Call for Art
|

In response to COVID-19, Amplifier is launching an
emergency campaign
with top art curators and public-health advisors from around the world. They are looking for public health and safety messages as well as works that promote mental health and social changed during these stressful times.
This is your chance to make work that will be distributed worldwide and will inspire us all to stay strong, safe, and united.
In solidarity with their global community of artists, Amplifier will award $1,000 apiece to 50 artists, with 5 winning works announced each week, starting the first week of April.

Innovate Grant supports artists, photographers

Innovate Grant
is a new initiative that supports artists and photographers through quarterly grants. They d
istribute (2) $550 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. Grant cycles are in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Winners will be featured on their website and will receive a one time unrestricted $550 grant. All applicants retain the right to the work they submit.
The application fee of $25 USD (non-refundable) helps offset our administrative costs, enabling us to continue to support artists and the creation of their innovative work. Spring Cycle Deadline:
