It has been a busy few weeks for Team Alsobrooks and we are proud to announce some new members to our team. As you know, the International Association of Firefighters, (IAFF 1619) endorsed us a couple weeks ago and this week, we received multiple endorsements from our supporters in the labor unions.
Touting our promise to ensure quality wages for our workers and create good jobs for all,
The Maryland State Council of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers endorsed us to start the week.
That was followed by The International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local 24, whose members are also excited about all the things we will do to create and retain high paying jobs and provide training to create a skilled workforce in our county.
And finally, we closed out the week with an endorsement from 1199SEIU and the SEIU Labor Council for Maryland and the District.
The SEIU Maryland & DC State Council is comprised of SEIU Locals 400, 722, NAGE (National Association of Government Employees) and CIR (Committee of Interns and Residents)
who represent health and many other service industry professionals that live in Prince George's County.
I am proud to have the support from all of our friends in labor and as I have said from day one, if there is a decision that has to be made that will impact them, I will not make it without hearing from them first. We will all have a seat at the table and together, we will fulfill the promise of Prince George's.
With much appreciation,
