Tosh Collins Senior Center Continues Free Computer Classes
Fall Semester of Computer Classes Begin Thursday Oct 20th
Buffalo, NY - The South Buffalo Community Association at the Tosh Collins Senior Community Center is pleased to announce the Fall Semester multi-week collaboration with the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library to offer free computer classes for Senior Citizens. With a variety of topics chosen by the Seniors, they are all beginner level and easily accessible to all.

Our Summer Semester of classes saw record breaking attendance over the 13-weeks. Based on the continued success of this series, we scheduled our Fall semester of classes as soon as possible, with more computer classes with Brendan from the Buffalo & Erie County Library.

All classes will be on Thursdays from 1 PM to 3 PM:

· 10/20– Buying Tech
· 10/27– Uploads & Downloads
· 11/3– The Cloud
· 11/10– Android Basics
· 11/17– iPads & iPhones
· 12/1– Files & Folders
· 12/8– Google Drive
· 12/15– Google Maps
· 12/22– Zoom

Thanks to a generous donation of 20 laptop computers from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, we now have a Laptop Lending Library. You may sign out a laptop computer at any time to check your email, surf the internet, type up recipes, and more. Staff members may be available for assistance by appointment.

All courses are free of charge. You must register in advance of the class. Call Kim at 822-4532 x0 or email [email protected]

Lunch through the Erie County Congregate Dining Program is available before the class for a $3 donation. That can also be ordered through Kim.
