 More Mahi-Mahi & Scallops in Steinhatchee!

People finding scallops in 7ft or in real shallow like 1-2ft! Try Nine Mile Bank or around Keaton Beach & Dark Island! Seems like everyone's favorite depth of 4ft has been picked through. 
They are hiding under silt! Many folks are having luck walking for scallops and feeling them with their feet! Seriously! Swing by the marina and pick up some lycra dive socks and head out!
Scallop season opened June 15th and closes Sept. 6th!
Mahi-mahi has been HOT in Steinhatchee these past couple weeks! Sea Hag dockhand, Zach Simpson, went fishing approximately 35 miles offshore when he hooked up on this mahi-mahi near a weedline!
The whole crew, Nick George, Zach Simpson, Nathan Price & Jeff Peters came back with a full board of mahi-mahi!
If you missed the previous week's newsletter, Capt. Chase Norwood landed a big bull mahi-mahi 75 miles offshore!
Bubba Newton and his crew slayed the mahi-mahi & Florida snapper this past weekend! They were eating good for sure!
Justin Tell was also in a previous newsletter with this monster mahi-mahi he caught on his birthday with Capt. Chase Norwood!
Nathan Price & Zach Simpson were excited to show off their catch! They said, "Charters captains aren't the only ones who can catch mahi-mahi in Steinhatchee!"

The Ketcham crew slayed the fish with Capt. Chase Norwood! Check out all those red grouper, scamp grouper & lane snapper!
Capt. Chase Norwood says that the BIG COBIA were biting the other day for his crew! Check out the size of this cobia one of his clients reeled in!
Dana Taylor landed a 25" trout on the flats the other day!
Scamp grouper is such a delicious treat! This scamp is huge and was caught by a client who went fishing with Capt. Chase Norwood the other day!
Sea Hag dog, Benelli, says that the scallops are still out there waiting to be found!
We have LIVE SHRIMP! They are $3.60 a dozen!
(Little) Chase went fishing with (Big) Chase Norwood and managed to catch TWO fish at the same time!
