Message from the City Manager

June 2026

As summer arrives, June brings exciting opportunities for our community to come together and celebrate all that makes Murrieta special. From community events and recreation programs to important City projects and initiatives, there is plenty happening throughout the month.

We're especially looking forward to the City's biggest event of the year, the Murrieta Birthday Bash! This year marks an important milestone, 35 years of cityhood! We are proud of this tradition that brings thousands of residents together for a day of family fun, entertainment, food, and fireworks as we celebrate another year of community pride and progress.

I encourage you to explore this month's More Murrieta to learn about upcoming events, City news, and ways to stay connected. We look forward to seeing you around town and celebrating with you this June!

...and if you haven't already, make sure you follow us on social media for the most up-to-date information. Facebook | Instagram

The Murrieta Fix It app makes connecting with the City of Murrieta convenient. This is your tool to help improve Murrieta by reporting local issues, like potholes and graffiti, or damaged trees, playground equipment, street signs, and sidewalks. The process to report an issue is handled quickly and easily by opening the app and submitting a service request. You can then track the City’s response. You can also include a photo with your report to help the City quickly identify the problem.
